GMAC-RFC Nederland was formed by Residential Funding Corporation, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors Acceptance Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors Corporation. GMAC-RFC Nederland’s primary business is to originate mortgage loans to borrowers in the Netherlands through intermediaries and other financial institutions and to purchase and trade in mortgage receivables portfolios in the Netherlands.
